Tour the Historic Weldon Mills Distillery

Experience the rich heritage of Weldon Mills Distillery with a premium distillery tour. Our tours offer guests an inside look at how we craft our award-winning spirits. Located just two miles from I-95, Weldon Mills provides a family-friendly experience at our tasting room and distillery along the scenic banks of the Roanoke River.

Distillery tours begin at our historic Mill Building, located at 100 Rockfish Dr., Weldon, NC 27890. A trolley departs from the Mill Building at the top of every hour and transports guests to the distillery.

Tastings are available at the Mill Building daily from noon to 7:00 p.m.

Did You Know?

The Mill Building, now home to our tasting room, gift shop, bar, and event venue, was originally constructed in 1892 as a corn mill. It stands on the footings of an earlier barrel mill dating to 1830. Adjacent to the Mill Building are the ruins of North Carolina’s first hydroelectric power plant. In the early 1900s, this plant supplied electricity to Weldon and also supported construction of the Historic Roanoke Canal Trail.
